From the Journal News 5/9/09.….Spotlight on: Dobbs Ferry - Third baseman Hayley Bingham wasn't sure what to expect before the season started. The Eagles were a team of primarily juniors and seniors, but they seemed to lack intangibles. But with Dobbs Ferry 12-1 and improving every game, she and her teammates don't have to worry.

"Each person has gotten better, so we've really improved as a team," Bingham said. "We're getting stronger and better able to balance schoolwork."

Bingham, batting .548, is one of three core juniors making a mark. Jacqueline Crews has a 1.88 ERA, and first baseman Grete Falck-Pedersen is batting .596 with 18 RBI.

"We really have a great team dynamic because we've all been playing together since we were little kids," Crews said.

"I think having everyone so close in age and knowing each other for such a long time brings us together as a team," Falck-Pedersen said.
