Posted Tuesday, April 14, 2009 by Chuck Devlin
Eagles’ pitcher, Jacqueline Crews, struck out 11 of the first 12 Nanuet batters she faced and ended the game with 15 strikeouts and giving up only two hits. The Lady Eagles got the 8-1 win bringing the team to a 4-1-0 season so far. Grete Flack-Pedersen went 4-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored. She drove in Haley Bingham with a first inning double for the first Dobbs run. Katie Martin brought Flack-Pedersen home to give the Eagles a 2-0 lead before Nanuet had come to bat.
